Wow I loved this one. The use of parallax, the train car motif, the art and the music all come together in a beautifully somber package. It's terrifying what's happening all around us, thank you for making this piece of art.

Weltschmerz is a free game, but donating a minimum of $3 will give you access to a Behind-The-Scenes package that includes source code files for Ren'Py, the song played in the game, and an artbook with developers' notes and a bonus after story. (Please note that this package is not ready yet as of 7-18-2021, and that the folder available is currently a placeholder.)
Known "Bugs": The scene will jump around or lag a little during the exploration sections. This is due to the custom sizing from the camera used to coordinate effects and is not abnormal gameplay.

Aw, I know this has multiple endings but the one I got felt so perfect I don't want to play again. (I might though.) I really appreciate how much attention was paid to the sprite's expressions; even when no words are being said you can tell what Zeke's feeling.
everything fits together so well... a very sombre and thoughtful game. i really liked how you used the vision range of the background to show clearly where Aspen was looking/uncomfortable with looking.
A very thoughtful story that will stick with me! Awesome work!
this game was a great experience. it's amazing what you did with the jam limitations!
It's beautiful and introspective. Every part of this game shows the love and dedication of its creators.
